Memories...

EVERYONE needs to do this. It's such a fun idea and grandma will love it!

As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a lot or just a little, anything you remember.
Next, repost these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. So, start thinking hard. Also when you leave a comment, you are tagging yourself, so repost on your own blog so I know who's blog to go and comment on:)
I'm excited to read what everyone has to say!

I have about a million memories so of course I can't just leave one. I remember being so excited to go to Grandmas house and right when we got there,no matter what time, you gave us all kisses and fixed us dinner. I remember all the crafts we did and what an amazing painter you are. I also remember ALL the miserable trips I went with you and mom to Michaels-ugh! I remember how you would always let us play your piano and play with the doorbell when grandpa wasn't home. I remember every time we would leave you would walk us out to the car and stay there watching us go. I would turn around and stare at you until we turned the corner. And most recently I remember last summer when you let me and Luke stay with you for a couple weeks until our house closed. I LOVED it. With Luke working it was nice to have some company. We would watch court t.v. full blast all day and you would make fun of me for reading twilight. Then when Luke got home from work, you would make us dinner. It was the life.
I have a lot of good memories with you. I love you. You are the best!

I remember your kisses when we would come see you too. It wasn't just one kiss, but a million little kisses on my cheek or head. I remember as a little girl trying to make my kisses sound like yours. I remember the smell of hamburgers mixed with onions frying over your stove. You always made big dinners, which I thought was cool since mom didn't really cook. As I'm writing this, I can picture you sitting in your designated chair, grandpa next to you drinking ice water with his finger pointed out, and then next to him was Geniel. I have a lot of good memories around that kitchen table too. You always had a paint project for us kids while you and mom worked on something together. If grandpa wasn't around, you always let us watch whatever we wanted on his T.V., sit on his chair, play the piano, and run through the house. I remember you making those really cool squirt guns for our peterson family reunion for all the grandkids. it seems like you were (are) always making stuff for us. I remember one year you made a birthday cake on my real birthday for me. it had candy canes on it. Since we didn't actually celebrate my birthday on Christmas, to get a birthday cake when it was really my birthday meant a lot to me. Okay, I have one more memory having to do with hamburgers. We all sat down to eat hamburgers for dinner and you fixed your bun with all the good condiments and then you started eating. You were nearly done with the burger when you realized you forgot the meat. You were eating a hamburger without the burger. I remember laughing so hard over that.

I can actually smell Grandma and Grandpa's house right now. I love that smell and I miss that house! I remember that one Asian swing lady in that tank thing in the family room. Was that a fish tank with no water in it? Does anyone else know what I'm talking about? I remember staring at the ceiling in that house and loving how sparkly it was! One of my favorite memories of Grandma and Grandpa is when they came to my elementary school in 6th grade for Grandparent's day. They stayed for half the day and ate lunch with me and everything. Grandpa showed up in a cool black leather jacket with pockets full of Starbursts. He did magic tricks for the kids in my class and gave them a starburst. They LOVED my Grandma and Grandpa! They were the cool ones. I felt so super special that day! I'm a couple pictures today Grandma! Love you!

When I was a freshman at the Y - I got to live with Grandma and Grandpa for a semester. I loved it! Grandma would make me chocolate cakes all the time and I think Gramdpa got a little jealous of the attention. Grandma was always up late and we would talk all the time at the kitchen table with some cake :) Can you tell I liked the cake! It was an incredible time for me to spend all alone with you Grandma - I LOVED IT! You are an amazing woman and example Grandma - I love you.

When I was 7 or 8 years old Charlie and I got to go on a trip with Grandma and Grandpa in their sweet motor home. Charlie had a b-ball tournament and I got to tag along. I remember sneaking mini chocalate candy bars out of the freezer- I was following the example of my older sibling... We went to eat at buffets. Grandpa always got mad at me because I never ate my moneys worth, but I had a great excuse. Since I was with them all the time I could not relieve myself, (fart) so I had the worst stomach pains the entire trip. We swam in the pool and I went to go look for lizards with some random kid in the middle of the day. Grandpa wasn't too happy about me leaving. I guess I was used to my mom and dad just leaving me to roam the streets of Springville. Grandma was so sweet and accommodating. She was always asking if we needed anything. I love you grandma, see you soon.
